The 4th meeting - Turkey- October 2011

Agenda

1. Brief 5-10 minute presentation of the art work pending in each school to learn about the European artists Antoni Llena, Emil Cedercreutz, René Magritte, Enrico Baj and Firat Uysal (in principle all of us have already interpreted most of the artists).

2. Approval of the draft posters following the Turkish proposal for the final itinerary exhibition of the Project. How to combine the posters with the “real” artworks and how to promote the diffusion of the final exhibitions in each country.

3. Spanish proposal: a sample of all the work done during the project: The book.

4. Further diffusion of the Project and communication among the partners and the students:

-          Upgrading of the twinspace of the Project.

-          New proposals (another videoconference?  Producing a calendar for 2012 with pictures and comments of the artworks? etc.)

5. On-going evaluation of the project- any problems to solve?

6. Brief discussion concerning the organization of the fifth (and last) meeting of the project in Belgium (not only concerning the exchange of students/ teachers, but also the organization of the final exhibition of the Project in Belgium).

7. Other proposals: European awards, etc.

The 3rd meeting - Harjavalta (Finland)- 30th March-4th April 2011

2. Approval of the Finnish proposal concerning the Audiovisual exhibition and discussion as to how to promote its diffusion.

3. Further communication among the partners and the students:

-          Assessment of the first videoconference.

-          Upgrading of the twinspace of the Project (documents that should be posted in the web and how to activate the twinspace).

4. On-going evaluation of the project bearing in mind the Intermediate reports of the project.

5. Brief discussion if necessary concerning the organization of the fourth meeting of the project in Turkey.

Patufet’s students travel to Finland

At the end of March, twenty students of 6^th grade and four teachers of our school participated in the Third Meeting of the Comenius Project “Communicating through Art” that our school coordinates. The students were hosted by Finnish families during six days and they shared this experience with other Turkish, Italian and Belgian students and teachers which also participated in the meeting.

The 1st meeting took place in Patufet Sant Jordi in L'Hospitalet, Barcelona, Spain. 1-6 october 2010.

Friday 1st of October

The participants will arrive to Barcelona and the host families will accommodate the students coming from Belgium, Finland and Turkey.

Saturday 2nd of October

10.00h Reception and visit to the Centre d’Art Tecla Sala.

After the visit the host families have organised some leisure activities for the students.

Sunday 3rd of October

The host families have organised some leisure activities for the students. The teachers may participate in these activities.

Monday 4th of October

9-17h The students will participate in the school activities with their Catalan host peers.

9-14h The teachers will hold a project meeting to speak about the following:

-         Introducing ourselves.

-         Introducing the participating schools in the project.

-         Revising the meeting agenda.

-         Distribution of tasks in the project and discussion about what the partners expect of the project.

-         Visibility of the project.

-         Budget and payments of the project.

15.30-17h The expert teacher Patricia Meneses will hold a conference about CLIL methodology in Arts and Crafts.

After the conference a debate session will be held and the schools will present the artists they will work upon.

Tuesday 5th of October

9-14hThe students will participate in Art Workshops conducted by the organization “Experimentem”.

9-14h The teachers will hold a project meeting to speak about the following:

-         Agreeing upon the specific dates for the next meetings and Agenda of the project.

-         Blog management.

-         Communication among students through etwinning.

-         Agreeing upon the main elements of the fist audiovisual exhibition.

16.00h Farewell event for students and teachers.
